THE EVENT HOST PROGRAM

Q: HOW DO I BECOME AN EVENT HOST?
  
A: We're thrilled that you're interested in becoming an Event Host and can't wait to get to know you! Once you've had a chance to review our FAQs and our Bigger Circle Opportunity Video, please fill out our Event Host Application, and we'll be in touch if we're looking to expand in your area! 
  
Q: AM I THE RIGHT FIT?
  
A: Our Event Host program is super flexible--making it perfect for the busy mom, the retired individual, or even someone who already has a 9-5 job. The only "qualification" that you truly need is to be a respectful person who can embrace the differences of others. We're looking for people who are nice, friendly, kind, nonjudgemental, and can take direction from others.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST & WHAT'S INCLUDED?
  
A: The Bigger Circle Event Host program is a complete "business-in-a-box", and your Starter Pack will include everything you'll need to host your very first event(s). Event Hosts can get started for as little as $499 and will receive online training, ongoing support, access to a network of other Event Hosts (where applicable), and event materials including: a Bigger Circle polo, personalized business cards, reusable table numbers and rotation charts, 50+ sets of "Guest Packs" with matchmaking cards/brochures, and more!
  
Q: HOW MUCH CAN I MAKE?
  
A: Event Hosts take home 40% to 50% commissions after any applicable venue costs have been paid. Additionally, Event Hosts can earn a variety of bonuses including Referral Bonuses and Benchmarking Bonuses. Q: ARE THERE ANY FUTURE, HIDDEN FEES?
  
A: There are no hidden fees, however, there is a $99 reactivation fee for each year you'd like to renew your membership.
 
In addition, Event Hosts are required to supply a "Guest Pack" for each ticketholder at our events. There are 50-100 Guest Packs included in your starter pack, and additional Guest Packs can be purchased for roughly $1.50 per pack/person.
  
Q: HOW MANY OTHER EVENT HOSTS WILL BE IN MY AREA?
  
A: In an effort to provide the best opportunity possible (and to prevent over-saturation in the market), we've created a LIMITED GUARANTEE, where we LIMIT the amount of Event Hosts in each individual county. For counties with a population of less than 250,000 people, we're maxing our Event Host opportunities to two individuals. With a population of 250,001 to 500,000, our Event Host sign-ups will be maxed out at four. 500,001 to 750,000 maxes out at six, and so on--with an additional 2 hosts per 250,000 additional residents.
  
Q: ARE THERE MONTHLY MINIMUMS / PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS?
  
A: Because we limit the number of Event Hosts in each individual county, we want to make sure that we're providing our guests with a number of events to choose from, and that we can create Event Host opportunities for hopeful individuals who may be sitting on a waiting list.

With that being said-- Event Hosts who do not complete at least 4 events in a 12 month period may be ineligible to renew their membership the following year.
  
Q: HOW OFTEN DO I GET PAID?
  
A: Biweekly! Payments include event commissions and bonuses (if applicable).
  
Q: WHO HANDLES TAXES & INSURANCE?
  
A: While we do require our Event Hosts to maintain general liability insurance, and we do supply our Event Hosts with a 1099 during tax season, we recommend that our Event Hosts consult with a professional about taxes and insurance.

EVENTS

Q: HOW DO THE EVENTS WORK?
  
A: Events are set-up similar to many speed-dating events--but with more organization, and a more personalized experience. Tickets are sold through Event Brite and can also be found on Facebook events. Events are roughly two hours long, and Event Hosts will send matchmaking results within 24 hours of the event.
  
Q: WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS CAN WE HOST?
  
A: Events Hosts can arrange almost any type of event! This includes platonic (non-romantic) events for various age groups and interests, including: seniors, parents of toddlers, SAHM's and housewives, couples (platonic), sports enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, outdoor adventurers, and more!
 
Romantic speed-dating events can also vary--by age, religion, and preference.
  
Q: IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF ATTENDEES FOR AN EVENT?
  
A: A minimum of 7 paid ticketholders is required for most events, while a 12 person minimum is required for heterosexual speed-dating events. Any events that fail to meet these requirements will be cancelled, and tickets refunded. With that being said, we encourage our Event Hosts to plan 2+ events on any given day--ensuring maximum profitability and minimizing risk/expenses (when paying for a room rental).

PLANNING/EXECUTING AN EVENT

Q: HOW MUCH OF THE PLANNING DO I PERFORM?
  
A: We handle all of the payment processing, customer support, and more! Our Event Hosts are responsible for securing venues, and planning and executing events based off of our training modules and with the support of the Bigger Circle team.
  
Q: HOW DO I FIND VENUES?
  
A: Bigger Circle events must take place at a public location; no private residences will be permitted. Other than that, finding a venue is easy! You may select a hotel meeting room, a conference center, a cafe, a private dining room at a restaurant, or even a bar. Our online training will be complete with venue-scouting tips to keep prices affordable, and to keep everyone comfortable and happy!
  
Q: HOW DO I GET PEOPLE TO MY EVENTS?
  
A: We'll provide you with training documents to help you start identifying prospective customers. In addition, Bigger Circle may occasionally advertise in emerging markets--giving you free marketing!
